Our Story
About OET Practice
OET Practice is an independent project built by a small team of young language enthusiasts and developers who wanted to make quality exam preparation something every healthcare professional could afford.
How it started
We started as a handful of friends — some passionate about languages and exam preparation, others who build software for a living. We kept hearing the same story from nurses, doctors, and pharmacists moving abroad: the Occupational English Test stood between them and the career they had worked years for, and the official preparation courses were often expensive, hard to access, or simply out of reach.
So we combined what we each did best. The language side of the team spent months carefully studying the OET format, gathering practice material, and mapping out exactly how each section is scored. The developers on the team turned all of that into a fast, simple platform where you can actually sit a full test, get an instant score, and see where you need to improve — without paying a fortune.

A test that decides someone’s career shouldn’t require an expensive course to prepare for. We keep our pricing low on purpose and offer a full test for free, no credit card required.
